On a special note: this seaweed is grown in the Far East of Russia off the Kuril Islands in the Sea of Oshtok, considerably north of Japan. The world is rightly concerned with the spread of the radiation pollution from the Fukushima disaster, and so are we. The currents flow south and around the world before arriving back at these northern sites so it is unlikely that it is there yet. The Russian government Has monitored tested our seaweed for radiation levels carefully starting with the June 2012 harvest and found our product to be RADIATION FREE!!!.
Our current stores of our raw materials have been tested for radiation toxicity and have shown to be RADIATION FREE!!! Please ask for our independent lab testing of our June harvested product shipped to the US.

The Nuclear Industry and Fukushima: A Giant Nail in the Coffin of Humanity Excellent read, Bravo!! Help make this go viral, please share…By Christina Consolo
May 12, 2012
For the past few weeks, word of the extent of the Fukushima disaster is spreading like the radiation slick moving across the Pacific Ocean thanks to social media and a lot of newly concerned citizens.
Independent researchers who have been trying to warn people for over a year are finally being heard. Much of that can be attributed to citizen journalists, who have realized mainstream media dropped the ball on this a long time ago.
To understand the dynamics of information and how it has been controlled, you would have to look at companies like General Electric and Westinghouse, who not only build nuclear reactors, but own major news outlets and, of course, are buddy-buddy with the Obama Administration.
Or, I can just tell you about it, since I have spent countless hours researching these connections and interviewing people about it. More on that at a later date. It deserves a nice big page in itself, with room for lots of details.
Not only do we have citizen journalists and the alternative media on top of this, but citizen scientists as well.
Have you met your new Fukushima expert, who just might live right next door? These are people who have taught themselves everything they possibly could about nuclear physics, radiation, Geiger counters, atomic power, nuclear plants, the effects of radiation on health, and radiation mitigation. These citizen scientists have studied bombs, fallout, and weather and wind patterns. They have been monitoring radiation levels across the country, with their own equipment they purchased out of pocket and learned how to use.
They have read anything and everything they can get their hands on. They know the difference between alpha, beta, and gamma radiation, and how to avoid it.
They know that besides cancer, radiation can do all kinds of things to you, like severely compromise your immune system, intelligence, and thyroid, or make you aggressive, confused, and fatigued.
You might bruise or bleed in weird places and feel sick more than usual. They have learned all this out of their own instincts of survival.
Sometimes they even go 2 days without sleep, when bad stuff is happening, just to make sure they are keeping on top of the issues as much as possible. It’s amazing what you can do in a short period of time when your life depends on it. And the more that they learn, the greater their sense of urgency has become in bringing this info to the masses.
And what conclusion have these citizen journalists and citizen scientists reached throughout 14 months of study?
They have come to the inevitable conclusion that all of our lives changed on March 11, 2011, when Fukushima went out of control.
The glaring problem is that we that we weren’t told about what actually happened.
Take, for instance, the fact that there were 3 meltdowns almost right away, and that the radioactive isotopes that blew all over Japan, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and North America came in extraordinarily high quantities.
Or how various agencies that taxpayers have funded, such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), did not do their job which is to protect the environment, and us.
In fact the EPA turned off their monitors for about a month, for the first time in their history. These are expensive and delicate pieces of equipment the taxpayers had already bought and paid for, for just such an emergency.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) knew, but they hid the information. The Obama Administration knew, but sent Hillary Clinton over to Japan to shake hands with the Prime Minister and show support.
Obama came out with a statement to the American people, saying, “We do not believe harmful levels of radiation will reach our shores,” which we now know was a lie.
We had to figure all this out for ourselves, which was difficult because the information was purposely withheld from us.
Despite their best efforts, they can’t stop the truth from leaking out of Fukushima. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests have now proven this beyond a doubt.
Conspiracy theory is becoming conspiracy fact. And now we are going public with this information, and in a very big way.
It has been around 3 weeks since I wrote my first article for End the Lie, and still no real progress to report at the plant itself.
Tons of water continues to get poured into the reactors and flow subsequently into the Pacific Ocean, every second of every day.
Radiation continues to steam itself out of the ground, and thus up into the air, which then blows over us (i.e. resident of the northern hemisphere).
Earthquakes still happen daily around Japan. In fact there were 7 or 8 of them just in the past few days near Fukushima.
The spent fuel still sits in its shaky nest at the top of reactor number 4. Nothing has been done to further reinforce the structure.
The good news (if you can really call it that) is that it hasn’t fallen yet. The United Nations and the United States are now in their most preliminary stages of addressing the complexity of problems there, in an attempt to see if they can help out.
But as you know, the wheels of bureaucracy turn very slowly. It took almost 14 months for them to start turning at all.
Besides the ongoing releases into the ocean and air and the precariousness of the pool, we have a debris field the size of Texas starting to hit the west coast and Alaska, which may or may not be radioactive.
Japan has been burning radioactive trash, and will continue to do so until at least 2014, and that blows over us as well.
We have a radioactive slick moving across the ocean, which by all estimates should have sunk to the bottom, but hasn’t. And we have sick and dying mammals, fish, and birds all over the world, which may or may not be related, but should still be an enormous concern, since many of them are being found in the Pacific.
That is part of the problem when you are faced with the world’s largest disaster. All of the models for how to deal with it can be thrown out the window.
All the assumptions about fallout and it working itself into the food chain have been wrong. It was much worse, and has happened much faster, than anyone expected, even for concerned citizens and independent researchers following this closely.
The government knew this would be the case from the early SPEEDI numbers, which were hand translated and delivered to the US government as they happened. But for the most part, Fukushima has exceeded everyone’s expectations.
New ideas, new techniques, and new engineering has to be invented and implemented. New observations have to be made, and they are, as can be seen by searching “mutations” on YouTube and watching some videos.

We have citizen journalists and citizen scientists who are desperately trying to come up with solutions, and are doing it for free, while our government and agencies created to “protect us” continue to collect their paycheck, roll their eyes, shove their hands in their pockets and hum a tune like they’re waiting for a taxi.

Forbes calls out the Government and Industry officials downplay the effects of low doses of radiation and reporters for being complicit in hiding the truth from the publicSince the onset of the Fukushima nuclear disaster Forbes has stood out like a sore thumb for calling out the government and the media for repeated lies and disinformation about the effects of the radioactive fallout.
Perhaps the most important article verified to the public that the US government quietly switch from a radiation standard that allowed 1 cancer death per million people over to another standard which allowed one cancer per 2,200 people and 1 cancer dearth per 4,200 people.
This was done for a variety of reasons and allowed the government to continue to assert the radiation was below safety levels and were “no cause for concern”.
If CNN and other news outlets repeatedly warned the public about the truth there would have undoubtedly been harm to certain industry that were selling goods contaminated with radiation as well as the nuclear industry itself.
I consider this the most important of the Forbes articles because it allowed the public to decide, based on informed consent, if they wanted put themselves at a one and 2,200 of developing cancer instead of blindly being deceived into accepting a risk which undoubtedly cause many cancers and many deaths.
Now, following recent media reports that radiation has been detected in US seafood harvested off the Pacific Coast Forbes is once again calling out the government and the media for lying to the public.
Should We Hide Low-Dose Radiation Exposures From The Public? When fallout from the Fukushima nuclear disaster began appearing last Spring in U.S. air, rainwater, drinking water, and milk, many U.S. media outlets ignored the story.
It was a difficult story to cover. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency was releasing raw data erratically, sometimes late on Friday afternoons, and reporters either had to possess radiation expertise or take a crash course in picocuries, millisieverts, MCLs and DILs.
It was much easier for reporters to accept reassurances from government officials that the fallout drifting across the U.S. was “well below levels of public concern.” And it was much easier to heed pleas from government and industry that we not alarm the public.
But experts in low-dose radiation will tell you scientists know too little about the effects of low-dose radiation for public officials to make such sweeping statements, and most scientists believe that across large populations, more exposure means more cancer:
“There is scientific consensus on a prevailing hypothesis that, down to near-zero levels, the occurrence of future cancer is proportional to the dose of radiation received,” writes Gordon Thompson, executive director of the Institute for Resource and Security Studies, in the May/June issue of The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.
This hypothesis is called the Linear No-Threshold (LNT) Hypothesis. It implies that no additional dose of radiation, however small, can be described as absolutely safe.
Government and Industry officials downplay that implication, and reporters have been complicit in hiding it from the public. Thompson suggests this policy approach may be patronizing, obsolete, and a threat to public faith in science:
Public fear does not provide a reason to hide the logical implications of the LNT hypothesis. An attempt by experts to hide these implications is likely to be counterproductive. The truth would probably be revealed eventually, leading to diminished public faith in the relevant experts and in science in general. Ultimately, public fear could be exacerbated. Also, when experts consider public fear, they should account for contemporary views on individual agency. In past years, well-meaning doctors would often withhold a diagnosis of cancer to avoid alarming a patient. Now, such behavior is generally regarded as patronizing and obsolete.
via “Unmasking the Truth,” The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists
If this is true for public officials, it’s at least as true for reporters, who should act as watchdogs, scrutinizing the actions and statements of public officials.
When fallout from Fukushima reached the U.S. last year, few reporters did so.
When radioactive strontium appeared in Hilo, Hawaii milk, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser stated matter-of-factly in a headline that the radiation was “no cause for concern.” That statement is at odds with scientific consensus.
Reporter William Cole relied on assurances from his expert, Lynne Nakasone, administrator of Hawaii’s Environmental Health Services Division, who told him, “There’s no question the milk is safe.”
Of course, there is a question whether the milk was safe.
Why would public officials downplay risk to the public? Because radioactive strontium can put a damper on milk sales.
In The Bulletin, Gordon writes that political pressure from economic interests too often influences policy approaches to low-dose radiation:
A question for professional bodies is whether, in a politically pressurized environment, they will not only speak about the uncertainties of the LNT hypothesis, but will also acknowledge its logical implication: Even very low-dose radiation can be expected to sicken and kill a number of people over time.
That’s a good question for professional bodies of reporters, too. If even very low-dose radiation can sicken and kill people, should we hide exposures from the public?

Diplomat Akio Matsumura is warning that the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan may ultimately turn into an event capable of extinguishing all life on Earth.
Matsumura posted a startling entry on his blog following a statement made by Japan's former ambassador to Switzerland, Mitsuhei Murata, on the situation at Fukushima.
Speaking at a public hearing of the Budgetary Committee of the House of Councilors on March 22, 2012, Murata warned that "if the crippled building of reactor unit 4 -- with 1,535 fuel rods in the spent fuel pool 100 feet (30 meters) above the ground -- collapses, not only will it cause a shutdown of all six reactors but will also affect the common spent fuel pool containing 6,375 fuel rods, located some 50 meters from reactor 4," writes Matsumura. In both cases the radioactive rods are not protected by a containment vessel; dangerously, they are open to the air. This would certainly cause a global catastrophe like we have never before experienced. He stressed that the responsibility of Japan to the rest of the world is immeasurable. Such a catastrophe would affect us all for centuries. Ambassador Murata informed us that the total numbers of the spent fuel rods at the Fukushima Daiichi site excluding the rods in the pressure vessel is 11,421.
Matsumura then asked Robert Alvarez, former Senior Policy Adviser to the Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for National Security and the Environment at the U.S. Department of Energy, about the the impact of such an additional catastrophe at Fukushima.
Containing radiation at the crippled facility will be no small feat, Alvarez explained. "Spent reactor fuel cannot be simply lifted into the air by a crane as if it were routine cargo. In order to prevent severe radiation exposures, fires and possible explosions, it must be transferred at all times in water and heavily shielded structures into dry casks," Alvarez told Matsumura.
He then said the 11,138 spent fuel assemblies stored at the Fukushima plant contain "134 million curies is Cesium-137 — roughly 85 times the amount of Cs-137 released at the Chernobyl accident as estimated by the U.S. National Council on Radiation Protection."
"It is important for the public to understand that reactors that have been operating for decades, such as those at the Fukushima-Dai-Ichi site have generated some of the largest concentrations of radioactivity on the planet," he concluded.
Matsumura admits this is an astounding number and one difficult to comprehend. He wrote that 85 times more Cesium-137 than released at Chernobyl "would destroy the world environment and our civilization. This is not rocket science, nor does it connect to the pugilistic debate over nuclear power plants. This is an issue of human survival."
Akio Matsumura sent a letter United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. "It is no exaggeration to say that the fate of Japan and the whole world depends on NO.4 reactor. This is confirmed by most reliable experts like Dr. Arnie Gundersen or Dr. Fumiaki Koide," he wrote to Ki-Moon. "The world has been made so fragile and vulnerable. The role of the United Nations is increasingly vital. I wish you the best of luck in your noble mission."

The first "phase" of exposure was the "gas in a gas" type diffusion. It travels quickly and dissipates and then raises total average global radiation. This second phase is the "liquid in a liquid" type diffusion (the seawater and other water used to cool the core). It is slow and will cause radioactive precipitation via moisture convection for a LONG TIME. Snow and rain will contaminate drinking water and "harm" you much MUCH SOONER than the crop harvest. Do this story if you dare.

UPDATE 5/3/2012: After several days of waiting for any possible precipitation to fall.. the geiger counters show slightly elevated levels compared to last week, but at least 40-50CPM BELOW alert level. Alert level is 100CPM.
This is somewhat good news, however this means it was for sure chemicals in the cloud column.
You know its a sad day, when one says "whew! thank god it was only a CHEMICAL plant exploding"...
Whether it is a petro-chemical cloud or a cloud of vaporized barrels of depleted Uranium... its now on the doorstep of the northwest coast of North America.
Coming ashore anywhere from north Oregon, through Washington State, north to British Columbia.
Here is the full report from 2 days ago: plus the link to multiple radiation monitoring sites:
At this point.. there are some reports of NO damage to the 3400 barrels of depleted uranium stored at this levelled factory.... but I cannot find any pictures (or video) to confirm the barrels undamaged / intact.
Conflicting reports are coming out of the area.... alexander higgins covered this fully. As we know from last year at Fukushima.. best not to take the "official word" of "all clear .. nothing to worry about" with a grain of salt.. and understand that a cloud of SOMETHING was released. The question is, do you want to get it on your skin when it rains or drink it after it falls to the earth?
As for the cloud itself... no one is denying a large cloud of SOMETHING blew sky high and burned for hours. It immediately blew off the east coast of Japan with this system we now see coming ashore on the northwest coast ---- Washington State, North Oregon, and British Columbia Canada.
Many people took issue with my warning of this cloud coming, saying NOTHING was in the cloud to worry about. I suppose they are forgetting a chemical factory exploded and its particulate matter was injected into the storm that blew across the pacific.
I don't think vaporized petro-chemicals OR vaporized depleted uranium are good things to get on your skin or ingest. So I put out this warning to pay attention to the radiation monitors and to minimize your exposure to the precipitation that is produced off this storm.
Remember, we're not talking clouds you can see.. its a cloud of small particles mixed in with the coming storm at high altitudes.. it requires the condensation of moisture to trap the particles of (X) and bring them to the ground level.
No doubt SOME chemicals from this factory explosion are going to be in any precipitation falling from this storm. How much? What substances? No one knows.. best to be safe and know this occurred and that it COULD POSSIBLY be in the rain, snow, sleet, hail, or fog.

Marine and land life in Alaska is being sickened and dieing off from an unknown causes as a wave of Fukushima nuclear radiation heads toward the coast of California. The raw story just ran a corporate media article acknowledging the discovery of Iodine radiation in kelp off the coast of California.
The story added few details to what has already been widely reported in the alternative media. Most notably was the iodine was first detected in the water within a month of the Fukushima meltdown and the double speak over the safety because the levels are supposedly relatively low. Relative to what?
Radiation from Japan found in kelp off U.S. West CoastLOS ANGELES — Radioactive iodine was found in kelp off the US West Coast following last year’s earthquake-triggered Fukushima Daiichi nuclear meltdown, according to a new study.
It was already known that radioactive iodine 131 (131-I), carried in the atmosphere, made it across the Pacific within days of the March 11, 2011 tsunami disaster, albeit in minuscule amounts.
But marine biologists at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) discovered the radioactive isotope in ocean kelp, which is “one of the strongest plant accumulators of iodine,” within a month of the accident.
“We measured significant, although most likely non-harmful levels of radioactive iodine in tissue of the giant kelp Macrocystis pyrifera,” said Steven L. Manley, author of the study with Christopher G. Lowe
“Although it is probably not harmful for humans because it was relatively low levels, it may have affected certain fish that graze on the tissue because fish have a thyroid system that utilizes iodine.”
Source: Raw Story
What was most notable about the story was the following comment which points out the polar bears in Alaska are losing their fur and there are marine die-offs occurring in the Gulf of Alaska.
Anyone talking about the recent strange illness involving polar bears losing their fur? The reported marine die-offs in the Gulf of Alaska?
Polar Bears Show Signs of Mysterious Illness
Polar bears with Alopecia and skin lesions in the Beaufort Sea. March 21, 2012. Photo courtesy USGS.
Biologists have found Polar Bears in the Beaufort Sea with hair loss and skin lesions. Those are the same symptoms that have sickened ice seals and walruses in the arctic since last summer and led the federal government to declare the incident an unusual mortality event. Scientists are just beginning an investigation into whether polar bears are suffering from the same thing.
“The first day we observed it was on March 21st and we had three captures and two of them had Alopecia, which is the skin loss and so it was like, ‘oh that’s interesting.’ Then we started picking it up on other animals in later march so it was like, this is more than normal.”
So far, the field scientists have found hair loss on nine of the 33 bears they’ve captured. The bears have skin lesions on their head, neck and ears. Degange says they have found polar bears with similar symptoms since 1999, but the number of effected bears makes this year unusual:
“The bears appear to be healthy otherwise. We haven’t seen any dead bears, so its not a mortality event as far as we know. But the fact that its occurring at the same time as this unexplained mortality event with seals certainly raises the interest level.”
The biologists collected blood and tissues from the affected bears to try to figure out if the symptoms are related to the mysterious illness that has been found in ice seals and walruses. Dozens of seals have died from the disease, but no walrus deaths are attributed to it. Scientists don’t know yet if the walrus and seals are suffering from the same thing. Although the veterinary pathologist who has done most of the necropsies on the animals say the lesions look very similar under the microscope. Julie Speegle is a spokesperson for the National Marine Fisheries Service. She says its been a difficult case:
“We still don’t know what is causing the disease. But our scientists have ruled out a number of bacteria and viruses that are known to affect marine mammals.”
Speegle says the latest tests to turn up negative were for two toxins that can cause harmful algae blooms.
“So just a couple more possible causes of illness that we have ruled out and we continue to go forward with studying samples and trying to find out what is causing this disease.”
Scientists baffled after finding polar bears in Arctic with sores and patchy furPolar bears have been spotted with sores and missing patches of fur, causing concern among wildlife experts that a mystery disease had become widespread in the species.
Nine bears were being studied by biologists carrying out work along the Arctic coast to see if the condition was related to similar symptoms in seals and walruses.
The bears were among 33 seen near Barrow, Alaska and according to the U.S. Geological Survey, the polar bears had ‘alopecia, or loss of fur, and other skin lesions’.
Mystery illness: Nine polar bears have been discovered with evidence of alopecia and skin lesions near Barrow, Alaska
Tony DeGange, the chief biologist for the USGS in Alaska, told Reuters: ‘There’s a lot we don’t know yet whether we’re dealing with something that’s different or something that’s the same.’
Last summer, an unusually high number of 60 ring seals and several walruses were found dead in the same area with hair loss and sores.
No dead polar bears have yet been found by scientists.
USGS stated: ‘Despite extensive testing for a wide variety of well known infectious agents, the cause(s) of the observed condition in walruses and ice seals remains unknown.

NOTE FROM MILKY: I borrowed a Soeks geiger counter from a friend to measure the radiation in the airplane ride from Flint Michigan (layover in Atlanta) and off from Atlanta to San Diego this past Feb. 22, shortly after the Chicago area and San Onfre (near San Diego) nuclear plants both released radioactive steam. I turned it on at 10,000 feet when the pilot announces you can turn electronic devices on. We cruised up to 32.000 feet. Radiation reached approx. 2.85 mcSv/h Microsiverts per hour. Considered Dangerous radiation.
The thing that surprised me more than anything was that when we crossed the Mississippi river (heading west towards San Diego), the radiation actually dropped.
Upon arrival in San Diego, our hotel room background radiation measured approx 0.18 - 0.21 mcSv/h background. Just throwing this out there for chit chat. Normal background radiation I measured with the same device registered approx. 0.06 - 0.12 mcSv/h near Detroit area.
I FF the video 6X.
What the heck, since when does a couple minute video take 40 minutes to upload? I used the same .wmv format, I just used a different edit program. Ugh, ugh, and totally ugh. YouTube, Grrrrrrrrrrr....

Basically, an anti-radiation diet should focus on the following foods:
Spirulina, chlorella and the algaes (kelp, etc.)
Brassica vegetables and high beta carotene vegetables
Beans and lentils
Potassium, calcium and mineral rich foods
High nucleotide content foods to assist in cellular repair including spirulina, chlorella, algae, yeast, sardines, liver, anchovies and mackerel
Cod liver oil and olive oil
Avoid sugars and sweets and wheat
A good multivitamin/multimineral supplement
Yet another benefit of the sea vegetables rarely discussed is their high mineral content, which is a bonus in the case of radioactive exposure. Consuming natural iodine, such as in the seaweeds, helps prevent the uptake of iodine-131 while iron inhibits the absorption of plutonium-238 and plutonium-239. Vitamin B-12 inhibits cobalt-60 uptake (used in nuclear medicine), zinc inhibits zinc-65 uptake and sulfur is preventative for sulfur-35 (a product of nuclear reactors) incorporation by the body.

This is an interview with Dr. David Brownstein providing important information about iodine supplementation as a vital defense against radiation contamination and damage. Radioactive iodine will plunge in to any and all iodine receptor cites that have no iodine in them due to iodine deficiencies. This is a serious problem because over 90 percent of people in North America, according to Dr. Brownstein, are iodine deficient. This leaves them incredibly vulnerable to radioactive iodine, which is one of the principle forms of radiation given off in nuclear accidents and from nuclear weapons.

Potential Benefits of Daily Use
Detoxifies the body from heavy metals, radioactive elements, free radicals and chemical toxinsEnhances the immune system and balances the pH state of the bodyInduces harmful cells to self-destruct (apoptosis)Blocks tumor growth (angiogenesis) andInhibits the metastasis and proliferation of cancer cellsPrevents thyroid cancer and other cancersInhibits blood clotting, assists in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseaseLowers blood pressure, regulates blood sugar and reduces cholesterol levelImproves gastrointestinal function and promotes weight lossIncreases energy and vitalityEnhances the structure of hair and nailsAssists smokers with detoxification (of strontium and cadmium) *Organic Iodine feeds the Thyroid Gland, which controls metabolism and promotes maturation of the nervous system. Iodine is important for thyroid disorders, whether underactive or overactive. Organic, natural iodine is hard to find, is a most remarkable constituent of Laminaria japonica, and is simply the best first-choice support for the thyroid gland.
*Alginate is a natural absorbent of radioactive elements, heavy metals and free radicals. It has the unique ability to bind heavy metals and radioactive elements to its own molecules. Because the alginate cannot be broken down by the bile or saliva and cannot be absorbed by the body, these harmful substances are sucked up then secreted from the body in the normal elimination process.
*Fucoidan causes certain types of rapidly growing cancer cells to self-destruct. Promoting apoptosis (self-destruction of cancer cells), Fucoidan helps to naturally eliminate harmful cells from organism.
*Laminarin is a polysaccharide helpful in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The powers of seaweed have been drawn upon for centuries for their ability to prolong life, prevent disease, and impart beauty and health. Worldwide research is continuously being done and Laminaria japonica has been found to be a most beneficial type.
Our product, BIOFILAM, is the purest, most natural nutritional supplement made from the brown seaweed Laminaria Japonica. This extract contains the life essential properties of Organic Iodine, Alginates, Fucoidan and Laminarin. Worldwide scientific studies and clinical research of these elements showed:
These elements, treasured in brown seaweeds, are enhanced by our special cold-temperature extraction technology, which does not break their molecular structure. And BIOFILAM is not just another dry seaweed product - it is a highly concentrated product. FORTY FIVE (45) pounds of raw seaweed is needed to make ONE pound of BIOFILAM.
If you are undergoing treatment for an existing health condition, it is recommended that you consult with your professional health practitioner before taking any SBR products.

The recent tragic earthquake and nuclear power plant meltdown brought up many concerns involving radiation levels in Japan, and the entire globe.
Here at Global Healing Center, we are committed to educating and helping individuals reduce radiation exposure caused by nuclear fallout, as well as everyday exposure to harmful electromagnetic frequencies.
Harmful Effects of Radiation ExposureThere are multiple harmful effects of radiation, and sadly many of them go unnoticed in the body for some time.
Low level exposure, overtime, can lead to major digestive imbalance, blood alteration and even the destruction of many cellular structures in the body’s key organ and tissue systems. Common signs of low level radiation exposure include symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, nausea, scalp tenderness, scalp discoloration and dry/itchy skin. In extreme cases, lower doses of radiation may also cause brain damage, memory problems, mood changes and reduced listening capacities, psychomotor abilities and information processing times. All good reasons to consider protecting oueselves from this type of exposure.
Large amounts of radiation exposure can have devastating consequences such as bloody vomit, hair loss, nerve damage, blood vessel destruction, seizures and, with prolonged strong exposure, can even lead to death.
Our circulatory system is also vulnerable to radiation. Even very low levels reduces lymphocytes in the blood. When lymphocytes are lowered, we are more likely to get infections, and what is known as mild radiation sickness. Symptoms are flu-like and may increase the likelihood of developing leukaemia and lymphoma in the future. The reproductive system is also vulnerable to exposure. Long-term radiation exposure can even lead to sterility, birth defects and still-births.
Reducing Radiation Exposure with Natural Remedies
1. Nascent Atomic Iodine Radiation has a direct effect on the thyroid gland, prohibiting its ability to create iodine, an imperative player in healthy DNA integrity, immune function, metabolic and endocrine balance, as well as cardiovascular health. Supplementing with nascent atomic iodine helps counteract the effects of radioactive Iodine. It is one of the single most bio-available forms of iodine, and may be effective in aiding individuals exposed to radiation by lowering accumulated and stored radioactive toxins in the thyroid. Detoxadine® is Global Healing Center’s brand of standardized nano-colloidal nascent atomic iodine manufactured with a unique transformative bio-elemental matrix using a revolutionary process. This means that it will be gentler on your digestive system than other iodine supplements.
2. Potassium Orotate In addition to radioactive iodine, the body may also be exposed to a radioactive isotope of caesium known as Cesium-137. This is formed as bi-product of nuclear fission. Potassium orotates can prevent the accumulation of Cesium-137. In fact, getting enough potassium from food such as bananas is a good first step at preventing radioactive cesium 137 retention. That said, potassium in the diet may not be enough. According to the CDC, potassium can play a major role in protecting the body and thyroid gland after an internal contamination, as in the example of the Japanese nuclear reactor explosion. Potassium Orotate is the best form of potassium to use for radiation exposure.
3. Calcium and Magnesium
Each of these essential minerals can decontaminate a form of nuclear waste known as Strontium 90. Dr. Linus Pauling recommends calcium supplementation, as it can lower Strontium absorption by up to 90 percent. I recommend using calcium and magnesium orotate found in the product IntraCal.
4. Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) Dimethylsulfoxide is an antioxidant sulphur compound. Studies show that DMSO actively detoxifies and protects the body from the effects of harmful radiation. One study from Japan found that even small amounts of DMSO offered radio-protective benefits on human DNA and overall cellular structures. It also neutralizes exposure from radio-isotopes. Studies show that the X-irradiation that can damage the body’s Kupffer and serous cells can be prevented with the use of DMSO.. Animal studies also show that rats exposed to x-ray radiation could be protected from the negative effects of the exposure via the intake of DMSO. This chemical could at least partially protect the rats by halting the typical toxicant reactions associated with radiation. Another study from the School of Medicine at the Yokohama City University in Japan found that DMSO offered protective effects for cell destruction, as well as DNA aberrations, in mice exposed to radioactive substances.
5. Zeolites Nuclear waste is typically “cleaned” or “stored” in the environment by mixing it with Zeolite clay and packing it underground. Zeolites can attach themselves to and remove nuclear waste from the cellular level. In fact, one European study found that Zeolite clay was an effective decontaminate for animals affected by the nuclear waste disaster in Chemobyl. Zeolite clay can also be taken internally for detoxing radiation. Perhaps the best evidence proving that Zeolite helps detoxification of radiation was its widespread usage in the nuclear meltdowns at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, and the British Nuclear Fuels (BNF), where it was used to absorb radioactive strontium and cesium – 137 from walls and floors. Similarly, the United States’ nuclear weapons facilities use Zeolite clay to line walls and floors to prevent toxicity.
6. Other claysThere are many types of clays that bond to nuclear waste from the body. Others include Kaolin, Red Clay, Bentonite, Fuller’s Earth, Montmorillonite. French Green Clay is another absorptive clay shown to possess the ability to rid radiation, toxic metals and chemical residues from the human body. This should come as no surprise, as clay has often been used by engineers, and by the environment itself, to remove toxins from the body or ground. Again, it was also used at Chernobyl in 1986. In fact, the former Soviet government added this type of clay to chocolate bars that were then given to citizens to help them remove radioactive waste from the system.
7. Activated Charcoal Another wonderful substance heralded for its absorption properties. Studies show that charcoal possesses the unique ability to neutralize radiation, and that 10 grams of charcoal can neutralize up to 7 grams of toxic material.
8. Papain is a cysteine hydrolase extracted from papaya fruit known for its ability to reduce toxicants. In one laboratory study on rats, it was found that half of rats supplementing with papain could survive a lethal amount of radiation, whereas control rats did not survive.
9. Bee PollenInitial evidence suggests that bee pollen may significantly lower the negative side effects of radiation exposure, in particular that of radium, x-rays and cobalt-60 radiotherapy. Because exposure to radiation lowers many of your body’s natural vital substances like white and red blood cells and antibodies, bee pollen is a natural way of boosting these vital functions.
Upon radiation exposure, the body’s blood haemoglobin can be broken down. Studies show that beets can help aid the body in rebuilding this damaged haemoglobin. In fact, animal lab studies have shown that rats eating a diet heavy in beet pulp were able to more effectively reduce the effects of radioactive cesium-137 than rats who did not eat beets. In fact, the beet-eating rats absorbed and detoxified up to 100 percent more effectively than the control group animals.
11. Cold-pressed Organic Vegetable OilsOils such as sesame oil, extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil also help pull radiation out. Sources recommend drinking 4 ounces of oil if you have been exposed. Not only do the lipids in the oils bind the toxins, they also offer a protective layer on cellular membranes. Studies done on mice exposed to lethal doses of x-rays have found that the mice can survive if they are given oil. Another study on mice found that olive oil could protect the mice against high doses of x-rays ranging from 300 to 2,400 roentgens.
12. Organic Brewers Yeast Sources recommend using organic Brewers use for prevention against radiation exposure. In terms dosage, 5 mg. to 15 mg. should be given to children, and 25 mg. to 50 mg. can be given to adults. For cases of direct exposure, these amounts can be doubled, or tripled. Brewer’s yeast may aid the body in both repair after exposure, as well as protection.
13. Organic Germanium-132An oxygen-rich, free-radical scavenging organic compound. When we are exposed to radiation, the rays from this exposure release harmful electrons the kill blood cells (haemoglobin). Organic geranium has been shown to snatch up these radioactive rays, allowing them to move freely inside the nuclear structure of the Germanium, instead of entering the human cells and bloodstream. This is related to geranium’s ability to protect the amino acid cysteine, in the human body. Other studies showed promising results involving the use of germanium-132 and a strong reduction in cell death in those cells exposed to cesium-137 and gamma rays. Currently, the Japanese are recommending 100 mg. per day.
